Many thanks to all the donors, but most especially Nikki, who donated a huge chunk to assure that Kimber's adoption will not be delayed due to the Stripe funds hold! Also many thanks to Brigitte, who has done so much in facilitating this and looking out for Kimber's welfare.

Kimber's adoption fee has been paid, her crate ordered and her flight booked. She will be arriving in Duluth late Thursday night, the 22nd -- and thankfully, no overnight layover. We'll be getting home about 12:30 a.m. Photos to come soon after her arrival!

Again, many, MANY thanks to all! Kimber is going to be freed and begin the process of learning what it's like to live in a home for a very long time. And she will be a blessing to me as being without a dog has made the silence in this house so loud. She will make it a home for me again as well.
