Update posted by Miranda Pawz

Hi!

Now that my campaign has been launched I wanted to give you all an update on the product that is currently being developed.

The product is a mobile application. It will function as a barcode scanner to connect you to reliable information about the products we use, and with companies that share your values. Whether that value be a comparable price point, or the moral and ethical standards we hope to uphold. The purpose of the app is to turn consumers into conscientious shoppers ers without the burden of having to research every single ingredient in every product. This app does it for you.

With the addition of a customizable profile page for preferences and dietary requirements such as for allergies, IBS, celiac, vegan, gmo, cruelty free, organic, local... etc, you will be able to clearly see products that meet your standards as well as those that fall below the bar. Now, I am aware not all manufacturers will have this information available but that is where with this app can still make a difference. We can encourage those businesses to be more transparent about their products, so you can make an informed decision about that purchase.

This platform will eventually bring the addition of rating, reviewing, and sharing. How about a step further... You have a guest coming over - perhaps they are vegan with a severe peanut allergy. They can share their profile preferences ahead of time to help you accommodate for their requirements that you may not be completely familiar with. Save your guests' information to your contacts for future reference.

Labels in other languages while you travel? Not a problem. This app has got you covered.

I plan to take this application beyond food the label. I've got some big ideas ahead. Keep following for more details.

Cheers!
