had our first kangaroo care

today! i was finally allowed to cuddle her.

there will be a repeat newborn screening tomorrow, and i proclaim that everything in her is normal and well.

our doctors are happy with Aika's development. we are all taking it one step at a time. after the kangaroo care, i pray the next is to be able to nurse her.
