WOW!! At this present time our family is completely and utterly overwhelmed by the generosity and giving hearts of family and friends and even people we have never met. We stand humble in the face of the blessing and favour that has been extended to us. On this day, 5 May 2017, we have raised enough funds to cover the costs of the Medtronic Guardian Connect Continious Glucose Monitor, as well as six months worth of Enlite sensors!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! We have no words to even begin to try and strand together sentences in an effort to communicate the utter thankfulness and gratefulness that consumes our hearts. Your contribution means so much to us! May that with which you have blessed us be return to you doublefold.

We cannot wait to tell our daughter that her long awaited desire and wish to navigate and manage her diabetes with the help of a CGM is about to come true! Her prayers (and ours) have been answered. We have kept the fundraising a secret from her and can barely contain our excitement to present her with the CGM. Life with Type 1 Diabetes will never be easy and uncomplicated but a CGM will certainly ease some of the struggles and challenges T1D presents her with on a daily basis.

We have however been encouraged by family and friends to keep on raising funds to cover the expenses of a full year's supply of the Enlite sensors. Therefor we will keep our daughter's fundraising profile going until the end of the stated date which is at the end of May.
