Third chemoembolization.

Update posted by Marcin Malecki

Every time it is a different experience. The procedure takes only few minutes and I know it. But still I feel tense and nervous. When I am not relaxed I feel more pain. The procedure was as usual but this time the chemo injected into my tumour knocked me down. Even though I had my glasses on , my vision was blurry for over 4 hours. During the 3 hour rest I was so exhausted that I could not open my eyes, so I slept. The side effects were much stronger than previously. I experienced nausea, tiredness and lack of willpower. And I am losing more and more of my hair. It took me a week and a half to get my energy back. But the good news is that the breast tumour is changing its structure, and the cancer is less active in my spine. I am pain free and I can move normally. Phew. One more to go (9th June).

Thank you so so much for all your support and donations.
