Steve Goodsell raises £590 for Krishan through his Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge!!!

Update posted by Louise Blais

We've told you about Steve Goodsell's attempt to conquer the Yorkshire 3 peaks following a 24 mile route with 5,200ft of ascent. His team set out last weekend to attempt the challenge to complete the route in under 10 hours....

He completed the 24.5 mile route on Saturday in a VERY respectable time despite the torrential rain and strong winds. He has never been so soggy on a hike before!! The BT team that organised the event say that this was the worst year in memory for the weather. Sunday was also a challenge which he had not really considered, that he ended up walking around the house like the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz (very sore and stiff). He's now recovered we're glad to say!

The following link will take you to a short video that he uploaded to Facebook. Unfortunately the film does not really do justice to the amazing scenery or the horrendous weather: Watch the video. Steve, what a trooper to complete the course in 8:47:00 in what was clearly a very hard and trying day!!!

Thank you all so much for the kind words of support for Steve and the donations for Krishan. Each and every pledge will make a positive difference. We'd all like to congratulate Steve on completing his challenge and raising money for such a worthy cause. Steve has raised £590 in what has been his first attempt at fundraising!! Fantastic result Steve!!! Thank you again!!
