Update as of April 1, 2017

Update posted by Sheryl Drake

March 31, 2017 : Rena has been finally discharged from the hospital on March 31 (Friday) at around 7 p.m. She has been cleared from internal infections but still has bloated arms and legs due to water retention. She also has a chest tube inserted that helps her drain fluid around her lungs which are all complications from her Lupus. She will continue all her medications at home and will have her check-ups weekly. Meanwhile, Rena's youngest sister, Krisha, has also been discharged from the hospital last March 25 (Sat) as well.

Again, we want to thank all those who have supported and prayed for her and we continuously seek for your prayers so that she will no longer encounter any life threatening complications and that she'll finally be on her road to full recovery.

God Bless you all!

March 19 - 23, 2017: Rena's sister Krisha Dominguez was also admitted in the same hospital last March 19 and then later transferred to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) since she was suddenly stricken with similar symptoms of lupus such as fatigue, fever and fluid found in her heart. Doctors are still monitoring and awaiting for the lab tests before they can diagnose her condition. Please continue to pray for their health and speedy recovery.

March 22, 2017: Rena wants to thank all those who have extended their financial, spiritual and emotional help to her and her family.

She is still in the hospital and has infection in her stomach. Good news is, as soon as the infection's gone, most probably, she can be discharged from the hospital and can continue her recovery at home.

March 13, 2017: Rena is still under careful observation at her hospital room and yesterday, she had undergone blood transfusion.

March 4, 2017: Rena was transferred out of the ICU, successfully underwent dialysis and now recovering at her hospital room.

March 3, 2017: Rena was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for monitoring and observation due to uncontrolled blood pressure and irregular heart rate while undergoing dialysis.

Thank you so much for all of you who offered their kindness and prayers for Rena and her family. Rena is so blessed to have so many amazing people who are there to give her support and encouragement.

We would like to encourage you to continue to help and pray for her fast recovery.
