Post op: It pains us to see Henry's legs gone. He's in a lot of pain because his body doesn't respond well to morphine. The anaesthesia is wearing off slowly and he's starting to be more awake now.

Mum was crying helplessly after she saw Henry's stumps in the post op room. My sister and I had to hug her together to reassure her that Henry is moving a huge step forward, and we are all ready for the change. He's now in a stable condition, wound healing will take around 2 weeks and finally, to rehab. Meanwhile he will still be in NUH for further assessment.
