I would like to update and also thank everyone for the continuous generosity. On Saturday evening we held a Fundraiser Quiz night at The Sacred Heart Church in Hove, which was a great success. A special thank you to everyone who came to help raise the funds needed for our mother's surgery. I would also like to thank all my wonderful friends for all the food and drinks donated for this event; without your contribution we would not have been able to raise so much. I would also like to thank the Church, Father Kevin and the parishioners who kindly donate after mass. This weekend we also received couple of donations that will be added to the total amount raise offline this week. The most amazing donation came from a very special 10 year old girl, that asked her friends to donate money towards our mum's surgery instead of presents for her birthday, so much kindness has truly touched our hearts. With everyones help this weekend we manage to raise £805.50.

Thank you again for those that keep donating and sharing the campaign. It is really heart warming to see the messages that have been posted, I've thought that it will be great to print and read them all after she has her surgery to give her strength and put a smile on her face; and to those that have chosen to be anonymous or not to post a message, your gift alone speaks a thousand words!

About her progress: She has been having some blood tests and scans this past week. On Monday she had a reaction to a medication taken before the scan; She was very sick for 2 days. She continues her strict liquid diet and doctor has prescribe some liquid food supplements as she has lost some of weight. Also we got some results back from her blood test and her Globulin levels are very low, there could be many reasons for that. Hopefully it's nothing serious, she's due to see the doctor about the results by the end of the week. Please keep her in your prayers.

We'll continue this week to sale raffle tickets, winners of the amazing prices (donated by our sponsors and friends) will be announced by the end of the month. I will also extend the deadline for donations and continue to feel hopeful that the funds will be raise.
