One month after TCM treatment

Update posted by Irhamna Taib

I am feeling down writing this. We tried Taipei TCM treatment that we consulted with in KL for Ihsan. First week his skin lesions improved. But then second week, he had flu, then we continued again the treatment (herbal bath, spray & cream) and added the oral herbs after he recovered from the flu.

Then it started going downhill again. After the 3rd week on TCM treatment, the herb bath supply had finished and since we were advised to weaned off the treatment slowly, only applied spray and cream the next few days. Each day, only one cream application. The antibacterial spray is good as it helps to relief some of his itch. However everytime i stopped applying the cream for about 2 days, new rashes will appear on parts of his body, limbs or face.

We did liaise with the Chinese physician via calls and text messages. I started to panic when his whole body and face had folliculitis (tiny itchy bumps and some had liquid when popped). Physician advised that it could be his body detoxing again. I do not know if I made the right choice for him to start this treatment though. If only we could afford to let him be monitored by Dr Sato for a few days in the hospital but that could never happen.

I have asked various people on various other blood tests to be done, if he had MTHFR gene mutation, where to get tests like the hair HTMA or urine OAT tests done. Too much information for us parents to absorb, too many things to try to heal him quickly, too much supplements products etc given to him. He had gone through many rounds of healing crisis (too high detoxification process that leads to bad flares or terrible bouts of itch). I cannot see my son suffering continuously. I fee like I have failed my duties.

Below are the photos of his current skin condition.I have emailed Dr Kenji Sato again and hopefully his kind soul will give me further advice.

Here are photos of his folliculitis he had after weaning off the herbal bath and cream.
