Complications have contributed to Natalie's slow progress (pneumonia, platelet count drops, bleeding in the brain, and possible liver function problem). All of which prevents us from giving her the nutrition she needs to grow so that the organs can move into her abdomen faster. This slow progression also adds exponentially to our overall medical bills with stands now at Php 1.5 million (approx. $30,000). Our target was $40,000 however it seems clearer now that it will not be enough so we have to raise the target to $60,000, hoping that in the coming month her condition will be more manageable both medically and financially.
