Complications from previous surgery and continued hospitalization

Update posted by Cristy Rivera

My brother is still hanging on. However he developed pneumonia from staying in a private hospital so we did our best to move him to a charity ward in a private hospital. He will undergo chemo as soon as his infection clears out. That is why we are really pushing for this campaign because we want to him to be treated as soon as possible. He was initially admitted to Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center, its a public hospital but they said they are not really capable to treat leukemia so we moved him to a private hospital. He is now confined at UST hospital. We managed to raise only 20,000 and then we loaned 100k from someone. The 120k was supposed to be for his chemo but he got pneumonia from staying at the public hospital so the doctors need to cure the infection first before they start the chemo sessions. Right now, after just 2 weeks of moving to a private hospital we spent 90k already. Thank god he is cleared from Pneumonia already. However, the doctors found bacteria in his system and they cant determine the cause. He will undergo more tests to determine the source of bacteria. When he was younger, he was involved in a motorcycle accident and he had a steel transplant (Im sorry I dont know the correct term) on his leg. His antibiotics and laboratory tests are really expensive and we don't know if we would be able to sustain for his hospitalization up to the start of chemo sessions. The doctors told us that induction therapy would cost around 30k. Our money is running low already and we have no other means to replenish it. So once again we are asking for your help. Please please help us. Thank you
