I wish to start this by saying thank you. Thank you for all of your kindness and generosity. Your words and your messages of hope. Armand received his operation, and it was a success. He is back home but, still in a lot of pain and discomfort.

Secondly, we have received news of the results of the analysis of the removed lymph node. Armand has Hodgkin's lymphoma. As anyone that has faced cancer, either directly or indirectly, knows, it is a disease that takes a physical toll, as well as a huge emotional toll.

The other toll that it takes that is often forgotten is the financial toll. Medical Aids are not keen on paying for treatment and, if one chooses to take an alternative root with regards to treatment, then there is no support.

To aid Armand and his family with all of the challenges that lie ahead, we are continuing the fund raiser. We also want to make it clear that the intention of this campaign is to use only what is needed to support Armand in his fight to beat this disease.

Should there be any money left after Armand is on the recovery track, we will donate all remaining proceeds to another fighting this disease, who needs financial aid. We will also continually update this page with the progress Armand is making so it can serve as a living testament of the good your support is doing, and the power of alternative medication.
