Hello everyone, sorry for the delay in updates on this page, we've been updating mimo's instagram account (m.imox) :P

The campaign has ended and we would like to say a big heartfelt thank you to all of you who have helped us! The fund-raised sum has really lightened the load of the surgery costs and the load on our family. No words can express the warm gratitude we felt, receiving such immense help from family, friends and even kind souls out there whom supported mimo, Thank you!

Here's what's been happening:

For the past few days, Mimo has been recuperating at home with her cast after her surgery.

On the 17th of Jan, we had a revisit back to Dr.Landon. Mimo is healing up well and the bandages were removed to allow the wound to 'breathe' , heal up more and prevent more sores due to the constant rubbing of the bandage against her skin.

Stiches will remain on for another week ... but i'm sure she's feeling much more comfortable without the thick bandage!

Had to make a makeshift pen for her to stay put in because she'll try to walk here and there around the house. Sorry mimo, hang in there for another few more days..Doctor's order: "dont let her walk around too much, she needs to be in quiet confinement for her bones to heal".

We will be visiting Dr Landon again next Tuesday (24th Jan 17) to remove the stitches. After which, she will hopefully be able to touch water, take a nice bath and get clearance to start on some hydrotherapy to improve the function of her leg.

We will still be updating the page here as often as possible and will be posting details of the accounting for the funds raised in the next couple of days. In the meantime, Happy Chinese New Year! :D
