This is a very embarrassing thing for us to have to do. After being in the good financial shape that we were in and paying off our mortgage early; we were forced to take liens against our home and have ran up credit. While, the issue is now under control we are left with the difficulty of getting out of debt. With only one income and I am disabled with Parkinson's issues (including swallowing difficulty, inability to focus or multi task, I have visual disturbances, my left foot and leg drag, I can’t always speak very well, I have some dementia, extremely painful dystonia, tremor and depression, etc, etc) we don't know how else to get out of this. Some people have helped, but those we know are not aware of the full amount of damage incurred from this, nor do we with them to know - that is why we came to this point.
