😱 GOOD NEWS! 😱

Big sis came back and being overexcited, Hero actually stood up by himself and walked a few steps before collapsing back down!! So stunned by his progress. Yesterday we saw him trying to walk, but he was doing it with his knees, like a baby's crawl. Unfortunately we always miss out on capturing all these. But we will definitely share if we do!!

On the other hand while Hero is making excellent progress (thankfully!!) I've got a really upsetting news too.

I personally know this dog and her owner and Having gone through all these I definitely feel her pain. She is also of similar age as me, 24/25, with two younger siblings.

An accident happened to her 6 year old shihtzu when she left her dog in the care of her relative while her family made a trip back to visit her grandma in Taiwan. Her dog actually fell down from the second storey of a HDB flat and have a complete fracture in the front right leg. The vet has advised for a surgery, est to cost $7k (!!!), as her situation requires a specialist to operate.

If possible, we would also like to donate some money to her campaign as well since Hero cannot do the surgery. We might still need the money for physiotherapy or additional consultations for Hero but we do feel that Mimo's situation is quite in need of help as well.

The situation is quite sensitive as the money we have collected over the past few days definitely do not belong to us. We also try to be super open and clear about how the funds are used. As of now we still want to channel our energy and the funds to help Hero first. Hero's campaign has stopped as we have raised more than we now need. We also did think of donating the excess to another similar campaign if we have.
