Two months since diagnosis; and a whirlwind of fear and pain for the Presley's and all who care so deeply for them.

Update posted by Jenn MM

Six weeks after diagnosis and only a few days before Christmas, Mitch was informed that the six-weeks of intensive chemotherapy treatments he endured had no effect on him and his recovery. To add to the devastation, Mitch was also informed that he needs a bone-marrow transplant and will have to travel to Toronto for an extended stay at the Sick Kids Hospital this spring. Joey, Jody and Crystal have all be tested for a potential bone-marrow match; results will be in by the end of January, hopefully one of the immediate family members will be a match and procedure can begin. It is to soon to solicit friends and family at this time. At this point, the best friends and family can do to support the Presley's is to help get them in to a better financial position to sustain an extended time-period living in another city while they care of Mitch during his upcoming treatments. The Presley's are grateful for all the support and well-wishes that have come and continue to come their way as they travel this difficult journey.
