i Everyone,

We are happy to report that the first round of book donations was completed 1^st of December. A total of $3720 was collected for the first round which we are all a part of. The funds enabled us to purchase complete sets of yearly school supplies to over 200 students from two schools in Thalawa and Agunakola Palasa. It is made up of all the kids in each school from grade 1 through to 11.

The kids were full of smiles knowing they can come to school next year without worrying about not having books and stationary to use. Parents of these kids expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all of you for helping their kids to continue to study in school. There was a clear a sense of relief as they shared their stories of severe financial hardship and life threatening difficulties they are facing in the farms with wild elephants.

We too would like to thank everyone for joining us with all your generous donations, lending manpower for various tasks, providing transport, offering purchasing discounts and sharing the donations page. All of us should be pleased with our genuine altruistic act to help others in need. As we can see, a small gesture can affect someone’s life more deeply than we may appreciate. Thank you again and hope we all continue to spread good intentions.
