Additional information about the Doctoral Workshops

Update posted by Jonas Puck

Thank you very much for your donations so far!

The Doctoral Workshops consist of two events: The JHD Doctoral Tutorial, which was held for the first time in 1987 during the conference in Antwerp, is structured in a one-day format and takes place on December 2, 2016 from 08:30 until 17:00. This event gives selected PhD students the chance to present their doctoral projects, and finally, the project with the highest potential is awarded with the EIBA Best Doctoral Thesis Proposal in International Business Award.

At the same time, the Doctoral Symposium is being held. It was invented in 2012 and held for the first time at the University of Sussex in Brighton. During the Doctoral Symposium, a panel of faculty consisting of 2-3 people watches short research presentations and gives feedback on them. This is a very helpful opportunity for young academics to enhance and improve their work.
