I’ve
been living in this community (Napico) for more than 10 years. Years ago, all
the trouble that we encounter are quarrels and domestic issues, now it’s
killing because of drugs. At night time, I can hear people chasing on the
rooftops, keeping me awake all night, for fear of what might happen to us and
my son who is into drugs. I am very old, at 69 yrs of age, alone taking care of
my son’s 2 kids including Christian. I rely on the financial assistance of
Holistic Compassion, where we budget so we can have food. There are many times
I don’t
eat so my grandchildren will be able to attend school with their stomachs full.
Although life is extremely hard, I am thank ful to God that I came to know
Christ as my Lord. He never ceases to amaze me, because in so many ways, I
