These are the recent visits we made to our dear scholars homes. We had a pleasant chat with either their parents, mostly mothers or grandmothers. Some of the scholars were not present during the visit because they were in school that time. They are living in temporary homes, meaning they do not own the lot but only bought "rights" to live there. This implies that whenever the owner of the parcel of land decides to use the land, they have to go and look for another place to stay. Typical lot size of their residence is 25 sqm or less. Most of them earn their living doing laundry for others, or part time jobs for other households. Most of them do not earn daily. The Holistic Compassion scholarship fund helps them in a little way to fund the kid's daily food and transpo to and from school. To them it's a huge help.
