I wanted to provide an update on Benny since it has been a scary couple of days.

This past weekend Ben was admitted to the ER for bleeding in his mouth from a biopsy they took last Wednesday. He is okay now and we are monitoring the bleeding at home. They thought that the mass in Ben's mouth could be mouth cancer, and we have been sitting and waiting to hear results until yesterday.

What we found out yesterday from the doctors is that Ben does not have mouth cancer, but he has Osteonecrosis which has been caused by the avastin (chemo) he has taken since February. He now needs to decide how he wants to spend the rest of the time he has left and his quality of life. Ben is still debating what he wants to do, I will provide an update when he decides.
