An update from Mark's wife, Loren:

"We counted the coins donated for her dad, & when we brought it to the cashier down the lower ground floor of the hospital, the cashier started laughing & said,

'How do I do this?' she asked the guard.

I told the cashier, 'Miss, it is OK, those are donations for my husband, my daughter & I counted & stacked the coins by 10's with a tape, so you won't have a hard time counting..'

The smirking grin was still on her face as she took out the stack of coins from the plastic bag. I waited for a day before she can give me the receipts, as she said she will attend to the others who are waiting in line. I just prayed in my heart & said, it is no surprise of how people treat you when you have nothing, as they can only see what is outside..."
