We've been raising money offline and online and at this point have raised 79% of our fundraising goal. Thank you so much to everyone that has contributed!

We are going to Philadelphia with lots of energy and enthusiasm. Our recent People's Assembly generated great ideas and three issues were prioritized: getting the money out of politics, election reform and climate change. We will be forming working groups to come up with a plan on how we can effectively address these issues locally as well as statewide and nationally. Please let us know if you are interested in being on one of the working groups.

We have three members of our local team heading to Chicago for the People's Summit this weekend and we look forward to getting their input when they return.

We remain excited about the possibilities for progressives in the coming year. We are looking for candidates to run locally - for Charter Review Board District 4, Hospital Board Northern District 1 and County Commission Districts 3 and 5. If you've ever thought of running, NOW is the time. We have an infrastructure in place that can support you. Let's capitalize on the momentum Bernie has built and get some progressives on the ballot here at home.
