The People's Movement is growing! On June 17-19th, the People's Summit will take place with the goal of creating a People's Agenda that is actually responsive to the needs of the majority. Learn more at: www.thepeoplessummit.org. (Deanie will be attending.)

On July 23rd in Philadelphia The People's Convention will convene to establish a sustainable, grassroots movement to increase issue awareness and provide channels of direct engagement with the political process for all of us - www.thepeoplesrevolution.org. (All of the Sarasota/Manatee delegates will attend.)

We want to engage residents of Sarasota and Manatee Counties in this process and will be hosting a People's Assembly at the Fogartyville Community Media and Arts Center to gather input for the People's Agenda and brainstorm how we support local movement-building efforts. We hope to see you there.
