The first room is finished! Woohoo! We are just waiting for the plaster to dry and then it will get painted. 🍾

Now we also know that some smaller cost items (eg transportation of the material from Narok) were missing in our first calculation. The final cost per classroom is now 5000 USD.

We also know now that the cost per table will be 35USD and we need 16 tables per room.
In addition we have to build latrines (cost will be calculated soon)

Dear Susan Smartt and her husband Milton had the wonderful idea to ask their wedding guests to contribute to the Sunshine school in lieu of presents and the first donations have already reached the gogetfunding page!
The target is to finance a dedicated Smartt classroom ❤️
