WE'VE PASSED $1,000. I can't believe it: she just paid her security deposit and set a moving date. The gratitude and relief I feel right now is overwhelming. Thank you for helping to create a safe home for my friend and her children.

We're not going to stop just yet. Every dollar we can raise helps ease a bit of her burden. Helps her put healthy food in the fridge. Helps her file those divorce papers. Helps her worry a little less. The strength and courage that it takes to start with so little and make this leap to a better life is incredible. I am in awe of her.
