My personal thanks to you.

I’ll be honest, I’ve had a few sleepless nights. When I first heard of the story of baby Lanz-Dhrei, I felt shocked and sad Mary-Jane was sleeping on the floor of the hospital after a cesarean. It speaks volumes of a mother’s resilience in adversity.

Then I learned about the medical expenses and the burden of their loan repayments. I wanted to help and raised this idea with my husband; after all, we’ve worked for years in IT, and surely, we can leverage this concept of crowdfunding? Of course, after researching and launching this campaign, the fear set in. Would anyone donate?

There are many stories and causes, but you cared, and you generously donated. We have raised over USD$2000 which is an amazing achievement! This changes everything for Mary-Jane and Vilmar. It will clear the interest-laden borrowings, and allow this family to breathe again.

Thank you for giving this family a break. It’s an inspiring and humbling act of kindness.
