Thank you so much to everyone who's donated so far!! £250 in two days is incredible - much better than I expected this to go. I'm going to be buying flights over the next few days, with my fingers crossed that we get closer to the fundraising target!

It seems like the start of the Labor Notes conference will be a busy day in Chicago, with the Chicago Teachers' Union and others calling a day of action and one day walkout to "Shut It Down" in protest against corporate welfare, tax injustice and growing poverty; and for racial justice.
