On May 13-15, Bafazi Bafazi women from all over South Africa, but mainly Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal, ventured to Swinburne in the Free State, to spend a weekend on a farm, playing Ultimate and bonding.

Coaches Anna and Robin led three strenuous training sessions, focussing on throwing and cutting, defensive awareness and positioning, and some super top secret Bafazi game plays. Hard work was punctuated by yoga sessions, braais, looking for the farm's resident lion (seriously), and birthday celebrations.

While a number of training camps have been held for the Gauteng and KZN contingent of Bafazi over the past 6 months, this weekend further served to unite Bafazi women who do not live in Cape Town and therefore miss out on a lot of the weekly trainings. Together, the team took huge strides towards Worlds!
