Fitness Training

To prepare for the intensive hikes in Peru, my team and I have been doing weekly fitness over the last few months. As seen in the picture below, this is one example of (from right to left) Jojo, Johanna and I doing fitness for Peru and improving our leg strength! Not only have we been doing weekly sport activities with sports teams and regularly going to the gym (myself=volleyball), but we also just recently had our fitness test for Peru. For the fitness test the whole team had to do the Cooper 12 test. The target of this test was (for the girls) to run 1600 meters in 12 minutes, and (for the boys) 2400 meters. Good news, we all passed! I will continue to upload all kinds of pictures of fitness that my team and I are doing to make sure we are in the best shape we can be for Peru! As well as pictures from our training expedition that will be happening this weekend (30.04-01.05)!
