Our mission to end hunger made more sense when we had the chance to speak with one of the students of Happy Hallow Elementary School.

"Masaya ako kasi may pananghalian ako," ( I’m happy cause I get to eat lunch now.) expressed 12 yr old Xerces Rosimo Jr who is a grade 5 student of Happy Hollow Elementary School in Baguio City. Along with 220+ children, they get to have hot meals on weekdays through Gawad Kalinga's Kusina ng Kulinga program. Since he was in grade 1, this boy skipped lunch & was sometimes forced to get lunch from his classmates out of hunger. Now, he is gaining weight & comes home with a full stomach. We are grateful for big hearted partners & volunteers who are making a huge difference in the lives of these kids.‪#‎WalangIwanan
