I got Renzo back yesterday afternoon (Jan 27, 2016) from the clinic. He’s done with his first chemo session. According to Doc Ryan his blood levels are now close to normal range however he would still need to be under maintaining medications such as low doses of Co-Amoxiclav, Prednisone and Multivitamins to continuously control the infection and inflammation of his wound. He has not regained his appetite yet but hopefully he would be in the next couple of days as he lost 2 kgs in just 1 week. As of the moment, no adverse effect has been observed.Next chemo session (Cyclophosphamide only) will be on Monday afternoon but he will be sent back to the clinic as early as Saturday for re-assessment (e.g. CBC) prior to the treatment.

Please always include him in your prayers that he may always have the fighting spirit and the will to survive for we all know that chemotherapy is not to be taken lightly as it causes too much stress physically and mentally to the patient (humans/animals) not to mention that it poses so many risks as the treatment goes on.

Also, if it’s not too much to ask, please help me sustain his medical expenses (chemotherapy, medicines and other miscellaneous). I will be transparent as much as possible on this. The estimated total cost of his treatment is more or less P50, 000 but don’t be fret because that is already for approximately 4 months. Any amount will be greatly appreciated.

Lastly, please continue to share his story and let the world see that we have one brave senior fur baby fighting this kind of ordeal. That he also deserves the chance to recover and have his life back, healthy and happy for the rest of his remaining years. =)
