Results of Peggy Sue's Biopsy

Update posted by Nena Hernandez

We have great news! Peggy Sue's results came in and her tumors were not malignant. They were papilomas which the doctor from the lab that did the biopsy and one of Peggy Sue's "guardian angels" said that it was good she had the surgery because the tumors could have become cancerous. Thank you to ALL of Peggy Sue's "guardian angels" who donated so that her outstanding vet bill is paid. We only have $61.00 left in the vet bill balance. Anyone out there who can help? $61.00 in Philippine pesos is about P2,806.00. Once we have reached this balance, we will close the campaign and move on to help other dogs needing medical care. Also, check current photos of Peggy Sue uploaded as she enjoys her walk in the IRO Lolo Ali Center. She is active now and gaining weight. One thing Peggy Sue used to do in the IRO Pit Bull Rehabilitation Center was she would drop down and refuse to go back to her cage. So we had to carry her back no matter where we were on our walk. We used to feel so bad that we couldn't provide her with a kennel as there were so many other dogs to provide for but we discovered that it was not the cage, a kennel, or even the room she now has in the Lolo Ali Center. Peggy Sue just wants to be with humans! She will be available for a furever home once she gets her wonderful vets' clearance. In the meantime, she is becoming stronger, active, and heavier again, but we will monitor her diet so that she doesn't become obese like she was before.
