Additional Project Details: Budget and Timeline

Update posted by Scott Brickert

How will the money be spent and what time frames are involved in the project?

Each segment costs $300 and there are twelve segments, so $3600 goes toward the film project connected to cross-cultural communication with N.A.M.E. people groups in the metro Paris area. The remainder of the budget goes toward lodging, car rental/insurance/fuel, and food. The rough number is $150 per day ($65 for hotel, $50 for car, $35 food and fuel) for 13 days. This is a basic average, since some days there will be more driving, some days less, some days none.

The time in France represents roughly 30% of the total time required to complete the projects. The filmed segments require post-production including basic image and audio sweetening, editing, titles and rendering. So for a half day of production, there is at least another full day of work at the computer to complete the segment. The narrative, story-focused 30 page Pascal script will be written, along with a 20 page background paper presenting the historical details a potential director and producer would need to consider as they look at the project.
