Merry Christmas everybody! I have good news regarding Nyiiro Gracehospital bill. Grace will soon leave the hospital to get medical support in their home instead. This was much earlier than expected, which also means that the final bill will be a lot cheaper than estimated. Instead of 150 000 SEK Nanyonga Brenda now believe that the final amount including physiotherapy in their home will be just over 70 000 SEK. In addition, Grace's work contributed with around 17,000 SEK, which means that our target is revised from 150 000 SEK to just over 50 000 SEK. Unfortunately, Grace is still unable to move or feel when someone touch his legs. After much bureaucracy and mailing, we now keep our fingers crossed that the first withdrawal to Brenda will be available for her shortly since they need to buy a wheelchair and specially adapted bed etc to cope with caring for and rehabilitating Grace in their home.

God Jul allesammans! Jag har goda nyheter rörande Grace sjukhus nota. Grace ska snart få lämna sjukhuset för att få stöd i sitt hem istället. Det här var mycket tidigare än beräknat vilket också innebär att den slutgiltiga räkningen kommer att bli en hel del billigare än uppskattat. Istället för 150 000 SEK tror nu Brenda att den slutgiltiga summan inkluderat fysioterapi i hemmet kommer att sluta på drygt 70 000 SEK. Dessutom har Grace arbete bidragit med ca 17000 SEK vilket innebär att vårt mål är reviderat från 150 000 SEK till drygt 50 000 SEK. Dessvärre är Grace fortfarande oförmögen att röra eller känna beröring på hans ben. Efter mycket byråkrati och mejlande håller vi nu tummarna för att det första uttaget till Brenda kommer att vara tillgängligt för henne inom kort då de behöver köpa rullstol och specialanpassad säng etc för att klara av att vårda och rehabilitera Grace i deras hem.
