Only 4 days to go with this campaign and unfortunately we have a set back. Ellie is on trial with a potential new owner but they discovered something was wrong... and found that the sutures from her spay operation three months ago have not been removed. This op was performed in Bulgaria where street dogs are 'done' and the stitches should have been dissolvable. Not only did they not use the dissolvable type but they didn't take them back out either, and now she has an infection. She has seen a UK vet and they have taken out what they can, but some have grown into the scar tissue. She is on antibiotics but if the infection doesn't clear up she will have to be operated on again with the scar opened up so that all the sutures can be removed. This is an enormous set back for Ellie and once again the bills are mounting up. Can you help please? Every penny will be used to help Ellie get well and be happy in her new home. Thanks.
