The local currency system designed for Heidelberg, will make use of custom designed notes and will be called Heidels. Due to regulatory restrictions the Heidles will operate as a re-usable, re-issuable and tradable discount voucher.

Initial note denominations will be in 5 heidel, 10 heidel and 20 heidels and will contain images of famous buildings in Heidelberg on the front with details of the discount voucher and details of funding backers on the back side.

As soon as the note designs are finalised, images of the notes will be uploaded to this campaign website.
