Ironically, one day after posting my mom's fundraising event for a home health care aide, she went back into the hospital today due to dehydration and anemia. She is in Glens Falls Hospital for the third time since July. She has turned to crowdfunding in the hopes of hiring a home health care aid to do grocery shopping and to prepare healthy meals. The chemo and radiation is taking a toll on her, as is expected, and she is often too sick and in too much pain and discomfort to take care of herself.
