I am updating the news.. my wife's mom has suffered a stroke, yet she survived. As doctors said, there wasn't a high change she can survive, but she did, and we need to do everything we can to take care of her, improve her health and thus prevent another stroke or heart attack which she would be unlikely to recover from.

The aneurysm was a diagnosis information the family passed to my wife. However, as she discovered, it was merely a hypothesis, and the doctor she talked to, after examining MRI, said the cause lies in her high blood pressure and high amount of cholesterol level in her body, causing chol. plaques developing in her veins. Unfortunately, even her main arteries are partially filled with the plaque. Now she's taking the appropriate medication, helping lower her chol. levels, dissolve as many clots as possible, and balance her blood pressure.

So, the surgery is not what my mom in law needs now. The best thing she can get, but we cannot afford as of now, is an intensive care in the hospital unit, where they can check everything needed, and prepare her for the rehabilitation process. It. may cost about one third of the surgery cost. Plus the medication, and the rehabilitation process which is crucial for her possible recovery.

The stroke has affected left side of my mom in law's brain. Therefore, she is impaired on the left side of her body, more or less. She can walk with a help, she cannot use her left hand. She doesn't talk, but she understands some things. So, there is a hope, and hopefully, with Your help, our dear mom can recover.
