Something I always wanted to have in my wedding was an arch, a chuppah, something to stand under as a symbol of covering. I determined this time I have having one! I thought I'd need to buy one but after looking on Youtube and Pintrest I found some great ideas for using the many branches that have fallen in our yard to make my own rustic-looking arch. It so happens that I have some fenching lying in the yard as well which I can wind twigs and flowers into.

After our daily frisbee game yesterday, Mathew helped me gather some sticks and twigs to begin the arch construction. We put them in the shed to dry and are waiting to see if we are sent silk flowers to adorn the arch with over the next months before our special day. It will be neat to see the various styles of blooms that come to us and put them strategically around our wedding venue, arch, and in our wedding party's hands. Can't wait.

No matter how things turn out, this day is going to be wonderful because I'm marrying the love of my life and people I love are celebrating with us!
