I just wanted to say "hello" and to THANK YOU humbly for considering supporting our project! I also wanted to offer a basic budget outline for the funds we are hoping to raise...

For Timshel's crossing from Miami to Oakland, we'll need a grand total of $53,000 for the following:

Fuel: $20,000

Panama Canal Transit: $5,000

Maintenance and repair: $5,000

Licenses, permits, customs: $5,000

Dockage and Storage: $10,000

Contingency Fund: $5,000

Provisions: $3,000

To offset the price, we are hoping to fill twelve spots on Timshel (for $2,000 donations) for the canal transfer adventure. Filling these spots would provide us with $24,000; we will need $29,000 for the remainder of the funding. So, our fundraising goal for the next three months is $29,000!!! Yay!
