Panama

Assignment in Panama

After coming to do outreach in Georgia, I received a flyer in the mail inviting me to visit a church.I had been visiting several churches but had not settled yet on a particular fit.Katia actually said, why don’t we visit that church on the flyer? I had forgotten all about it. So we ventured to a new place and they had just started the worship service.I was immediately drawn in as we began to worship God.I felt this was the church we would attend until God said different.I became involved with the worship team and have been serving there since. This was a big adjustment for me, coming from such a large congregation in Orlando, but I’ve met some amazing folks.

It’s now summer of 2017 and I could feel the heart strings being pulled for me to think about going back in the field.I began communicating with several missionaries whom I had previously served with about serving at the new base in Mexico that would launched soon. Not many days afterwards, I received an email inviting me to come to Panama. Before this happened, I believe God was already at work.I had received an unexpected and most gracious gift. When I began checking for flights to Panama, I realized this gift would almost cover the cost of the ticket.I was thrilled.

All said, I will be taking an assignment in Chiriqui, Panama for the next five months.I am scheduled to leave on next week, July 26th.I will be a part of the discipleship training school and we will be ministering, teaching, and working with the indigenous tribes in Chiriqui, and other parts of Panama. We will also spend many hours in the classroom and worship center.I am excited about this opportunity and the amazing things God is going to do.

No matter where he sends me, I will say YES.The lyrics to this song couldn’t have stated it more perfectly:

I'll just say yes, You lead the way
I'm not afraid of what it means for me to say
That this life You gave Is not my own
I'm trusting You to hear my yes and lead me on
Yes Lord, my life is Yours

And there is peace when I say yes
I might not see it now but You save the best
For all who trust You and obey
There is an answer no more delay
I’LL JUST SAY YES, YES LORD!

So, I am requesting your prayers, your support and love as I continue this journey God has placed before me.As a missionary, we have to raise our own living expenses, so I am looking for ongoing support partners. However, any support is appreciate, even If you’re only able to give once. You can send donations to my attention in the U.S.:
