One month on from surgery, Sam is thriving, I am sure his tale wags even faster and he is enjoying life to the full. He is fed a better diet than us now and is truly cherished.

The oncologist phoned us with the results on Friday evening and confirmed that that the safe margins round the area where the tumour was removed were too narrow and without further treatment the tumour is likely to grow back, so we have to keep fighting it. Sam will go back to the Royal Dick Vet hospital this week for another CT scan so that they can target the radiation therapy very specifically.

 

Then we have a rough journey ahead of us but we will ride the storm knowing that there will be happier times at the other side of it.

 

We remain optimistic that we, together with Sam, will beat this!
