This was the first school visit we did this year! Look at these sweet faces! Thank you so much to Ms. Griffin for having me as part of Fairy Tale Week! It was so wonderful to talk about where food comes from with the after school program. You'd be amazed to know how excited they were to share their favorite fruits and vegetables! And we set the record straight- that chicken nuggets come from a chicken, not McDonalds ;). I think they were most excited to know that princesses have the same favorite vegetables they do. And of course, because they had brown rice for lunch, I had to add shock value by letting them know how rice is grown!
