So much gratitude to my roommate who cared for Beatrice and give her all her meds while I had to go out of town!

Beatrice is recovering rather well. Her breath no longer smells like infection. Her energy levels are back to normal. She is no longer whimpering in pain, though she is rubbing at her face and her rear end irritates her after I put on the ointment. The area around her mouth still has sores and her eyes and nose seem to be dripping more than usual.

The vet called and said that the biopsies showed no sign of an autoimmune disease - Phew! She has her follow-up appointment Friday, Oct. 11th to get her stitches out and see how the infection is doing.
