Okay, so 8 teeth less and the cause of the severe infection is still unknown, but Beatrice seems to be managing alright. Already the infected area around her mouth is looking better. The nurse said that in her six years she's never seen an infection like this before. They took three biopsies and based on those results will have to determine what to do from there. She has more antibiotics, a painkiller, an ointment for the irritation that recently formed on her anus and vulva, and a medication for yeast infection.

The bill so far: $2,135

She has to come in in 12 days for a follow-up appointment. Hopefully the biopsies will shed light on if she has an autoimmune disease.
