God is so good!!!

Update posted by Jennifer DeHerrera

The update below in quotes is in Veronica's own words from 4/27/17. We are so amazed and thankful to all who donated and who continue to do so. This is a true miracle and it is a beautiful thing to witness. Thank you!!!

"I don't even know where to start but to say "Praise God" "Praise God". We have an amazing father who truly loves us. And I know that he loves me. He has showed me over and over again. The doctor just told us that the MRI showed NO CANCER!!!! My tumor is GONE!!!! This has been a long hard fight over the past four years but I just knew God had plans for me. I will still be in treatment till Feb. of next year and I am going to try to return to work. Special thanks to my girls for all they have done and for always being there for me. And to my all my family who have been just great. My husband who is my rock and my soul mate, and to my church, Compass Christian Church and the pastors who have helped me so much in my faith.. This journey would have been so much different without my Lord and all these people in my life. The road ahead is still long but the future is so much brighter than it was just three months ago. Prayers are still needed and very much appreciate." - Veronica Ramirez

The treatments that she was able to get at The Cancer Treatment Centers of America location in Arizona worked better than anyone could have guessed. In three months the tumor which was wrapped around her carotid artery at the base of her tongue, (a tumor which was inoperable and had a terrible prognosis) is gone. It's gone!!!!! That is a miracle, a beautiful miracle from God. We are grateful for the good doctors and nurses and amazing medicine that was made available to Veronica, we can see God's hand in all of this and we are in awe. Thank you for witnessing this with us and thank you for your continued support! She will continue getting treatments until Feb of 2018, you can follow her journey on Facebook.

The photo is Ronnie and her hubby Roy, along with her daughter Amanda, at a Christian concert that she wasn't even sure she would be able to attend. Amanda had purchased the tickets just prior to finding out that the cancer was back and that it was a very bad prognosis so it was a wonderful thing for them to be able to attend together. The pure joy on her face as she praises God and rejoices her life is beautiful to see and I wanted to share it with you.
