Update 05/16/13: Trinket is a 9 month old Yorkie who came to rescue after her family exhausted all efforts to make her pain free. Although I do not know the extent of her problems, what I do know is that she has curved femurs and severely luxating patellas. Trinket is not able to go up steps as the pain in her legs is too great and the muscle tone in her legs cannot support her attempts. Even with all the pain she is in, Trinket wants nothing more than to be snuggled and sit on your lap. Trinket's family did an amazing job getting her as far as she is now, but know that if she does not receive surgery, she will be unable to walk at all in the near future. Trinket's surgery will be several thousand dollars.  If you can help with her care, she (and UYR!) would sure appreciate it.
