To boost my fundraising efforts I am organising a pasta lunch and movie on Sat 16 March in the Hall at the Language Centre at La Trobe University (Cnr Crissane and Waterdale Rds).

For the past two weeks I have been busy trying to secure a venue and speaking to tens of shopkeepers to ask them to donate prizes for the raffle/auction or sponsor things like dessert on the day. It has been a rollercoaster, that's for sure! Things are finally starting to fall into place though and I can't wait to see how it all turns out on the day.

The general cost is $25 and $20 for students.This includes pasta lunch and dessert, as well as a movie screening of either Tsotsi or Life, above all. (Still tossing up!)
